I found an annoying bug that makes it so the audio plays, but after a point on the timeline it stops showing the waveform preview thing. It seems that I can make it show the audio for the part showing on the timeline if I go to Project Settings and do nothing, then hit Okay. It's still really annoying since if I close the project and open it it dissapears again.
