On the "Style" i change the line width to .50 and create a shape with it but the line width stays the same as the rest. (I am making a knee cap and when i change it to .50 it still is 1 like the rest of the leg) I also tried the line width tool but i can't get it to look good. Are there any solutions to my problem?

Try using Line with tool 'w' on the point(s) you want to change.
