gradient controls

Can we have better gradient fill control. Now it has color 1 to color 2 , angle and option for linear or radial. How about graphs/sliders to control the how the colour changes, to bias the midpoint? Controls to perturb the colors?
More often than not, MOHO's gradient is too linear. I end up painting a gradient backdrop and imports them in as images. But images are a render time hog.

Once again, i second this. It would be dead useful to have this amount of control over the gradient.

I would also like to see more than two colors available in a gradient, as well as control over placement and midpoint.

Yes, it would be nice to have more control over gradients. I can't give you an idea when this might happen, but I think it's clear that this would be useful to people.

Maybe a bench-mark, 5.2 release?

I'll chime in and say that at the very least a midpoint bias would be a great addition to Mohos very simplistic gradient tool. I actually really needed something like that today while doing a character but ended up just using a solid color cause the gradient just didn't look the way I needed it. I didn't even need more than the 2 colors, just need to change the midpoint bias and I would have been golden. I'm sure the guys at Lost Marble know that Illustrator is the best place to look for a proper gradient tool that has multiple color selection plus midpoint bias among other features. Flashes gradient tool sucks so thats definitely not the place to look for inspiration.

Maybe the best way for do this would be if we could assing certain color (and Alfa?) to a certain point, with this we could mantain the gradient aparence during animation (without surprises and unwanted results), with total liberty number of colors and VERY rich results... and, maybe, some day maintain compatibility with Illustrator gradients import,

THANKS!
