That's cool. I can appreciate the fact it was done in "ems" as well. I love that kind of stuff...
As for "why"... why build the statue of liberty out of legos?

...well, yeeeeeaaaaahhhhh, but I think assembling a lego statue of liberty is a bit different from building a well-known cartoon character out of hundreds of typographical cyphers. What the hell is the point in doing that? To show you can do it? I dunno, sometimes you can learn a lot doing something silly like that.
