Exporting to SWF creates a distortion. Unsure why. Help?

Hello AS community,

I have AS Pro 5.6 and am having a problem exporting to a flash file.

When I export to AVI my character comes out perfect, however, when I export to SWF, each of my mouth swithlayers have a distorted line as in the below screen shots:

My mouths are vector graphics in a switch layer. They contain no effects that flash would have a problem with such as brushes or particles, etc. The points all seem to be confined in the proper area of the mouth for all mouth switchlayers:

I have no idea what is causing this. I am looking to create a little something in flash with the character of myself, but do not want to recreate all of my mouths. I know it is the mouth layer because when I make it invisible (no mouth) the flash animation does not distort.

Any help or suggestions as to the cause of this would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Trick

This happens when two shapes with the same exact vectors sit on top of each other.
I'm not sure why but if you copy the shapes colour/effects settings then knock out the offending shape (in this casae the lip or teeth) using the X tool , then remake the shape- just once and paste its colour and effect again.
You won't need to move any points just the create and select shape tools.

I was able to rebuild a file the other day that was terribly affected by this, but it wasn't actually that hard to find the offending areas and cure them.

:) :)

THANKS!!!

Thank you Chucky!!!!

I did this on one of the mouths in the layer and it looks like it will work. Now I just need to do it to all my mouths. Removing the shapes and reapplying the color will be much faster than the alternative, so thank you for the tip!!! You saved me much time.
