Hi everybody

Lately i have been asked to make backgrounds for some animation projects.
Im going to get paid for them :D but since i dont have too much labor experience in this matter, i dont really know how much should i charge for one of my backgrounds.
These are some of my backgrounds and they are totally made in anime studio:

How much do you think should i charge for one of them?

Very nice work ;)

I'd say figure out how much your time is worth per hour, then figure out how many hours you spent on these.

The price should be higher if the person wants exclusive rights. If you can resell a background then could post them on CP or some other website and try to make money that way.

Too often I see artiest let their greed get in the way of a sale. Find out what the buyer is willing to pay and what 'rights' they need. Also where you are in the world makes a difference. I paid to have a book turned into a script. I could have done it myself but just didn't want to. About 40 hours of tedious work. My price was 300. Any more than that I would do it myself. Some one in Cambodia did it, because most people in the US will not work for 7.50 an hour.
