Are that any other line-drawing programs like Plastic Animation Paper 4.0, that also have the timeline(or x-sheet), and onion-skin function.

I was thinking about buying Plastic Animation Paper 4.0 but, I wanted to check out any other similar programs first.

Hi Kori,

You might want to look at this program. It includes a x-sheet as well.

From the few I have tried, PAP is the better by far. Maybe it's not too complex, but does pretty well what it offers. Definitively my favorite for frame by frame.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I already own FlipBook and it's okay, but it's not really exciting me yet so I'm still looking around for something else. I was thinking about buying PAP, so I thought I would ask to see if I missed any other drawing programs.

No Patmals, I never did. I'm still not ready to commit to such high priced software. I'm playing around with FlipBook at the moment and planning on buying PAP. I have decided to not buy Toon Boom for sure. I own Photoshop, Illistrator, After Effects, Corel Paint and Anime Studio. All I really need at this point is a drawing program I feel comfortable with to make a small animation for learning purposes.

I'm going to hold off on the more expensive programs like TVPaint and Retas until I know more about animation.
