I presume an object you import is positioned relative to a specific point of the imported image. Meaning, there is one anchor point in the image used to determine the x position.

How do you change that? Is it the centroid of the drawing, can you change it in anime...?

The "0" Key (zero) gives you the Origin Tool which sets the pivot point of each layer.
