Text in audio corrupts file

Post by markyyy »

Here's a new one...

I've imported an audio file, associated a text file to it...

1st problem... if the text is longer than the space provided, we can't see it or access it at all... (but it is still in the AS file)

2nd problem... I saved the file, closed the program, try to reopen the file and it wouldn't open it..

I have a screen capture of the error,

For now, my workaround is to open the AS file in a text editor and to delete the text associated to the audio file...

thx..

It might also be "special characters". Strange characters like " or % or !. Haven't tested so I can't say for certain.

I'll have to try that one... I know it did it in 2 different files already, but indeed, they do come from a script, so there are special caracters like ...., !, " ,etc.

thanks for the tip..

Hi Vern,

I just tried with a text that had no special characters nor period, etc.

and the result is the same... file is corrupted...

I happy though that the file can be opened and edited with a simple text editor...

I found a "fix"

I use the text to create my lipsync, then I delete the text and it's all good..
