That's great J :) Congratulations. If you don't mind sharing some sales info I would be really interested in hearing how it goes. Since I moved all my products to the new CP I hav'nt had any sales at all. Hope yours is different and you sell heaps :)

Thanks guys!

DK, I'll let you know how it goes. You have some nice content on there yourself. I wonder why sales haven't been as good for you? Did your content sell well on the old content paradise?

And a tip that I'm trying is posting the content on youtube. Then in the info posting a link to the item on content paradise. Like this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYv84MRHaiQ

Hi J. Yes. I was selling about US$50-100 per month. As soon as I moved to the new site, absolutely nothing!!! Not even my freebies are being downloaded and I was getting 3-4 freebie downloads per day. This has been the case for nearly 3 moinths now.

WOW, that's strange. You would think you would be doing the same since the domain name is the same. It's not like it's a different url or something. I even just checked from the menu in AS6, Help, Buy Content..., still leads to content paradise. Have you tried purchasing one of your own items to make sure their site is working correctly? Because if you purchase something of your own and it still doesn't show, then something is definitely not right.

Hi J.
There's nothing wrong with the products. They have all been checked. It's the fact there is'nt any searchable category function like the old site. All our products are jst lumped in together. Unless you know what you are specifically looking for the AS products are not easy to find. Combine tha with the fact that a lot of my products were externally linked from other websites and those links have been broken with the move.

If you could Please do me a favour and post here when you sell your first copy of your vector castle? Normally I used to sell a new AS product within 1 day.

Cheers

Will do DK. Also I did just download wienercar just for testing.

Also, when I search, I just select Anime Studio as the program and click search. Which does pull up Anime Studio content but it's also still amongst other 3D content. Which makes it hard to find content that was made with Anime Studio. That alone could be the big issue.

I did like the old content paradise where it had the big tabs at the top for each program. All you had to do is click on the Anime Studio one and you got just Anime Studio content. Smith Micro really needs to do something about this. Not only are you loosing profits but so are they on the commission side. It's an all around lost for everybody. Maybe if that was pointed out, they would rework the site for friendlier searching.

But like I said, I'll let you know how it goes. ;)

Hi J.
Wow...thanks for letting me know you downloaded one of my freebies. I just checked my store and it turns out I have actually sold $US30.00 worth of AS content this month and had no idea? With the old site you used to get an email notification everytime one of your items sold. It seems this feature is not in the new site but I have sent an email to CP to confirm this.

Will keep you posted!

Glad I could help and glad you've made some cash. Oh and wienercar is pretty cool and I like the short video you add with it. Nicely done! ;)
