When I click "advanced," there should be two popout menus in the top section, one for selecting named shapes in a certain layer, and one for applying and editing Styles.

My styles popout menu is never there. Is this a bug, or is there some process I need to go through to make the styles popout menu appear?

Does the fact that I'm running this on Mac have anything to do with anything?

I've got an intel Mac and it works here.
But I've got two things I'm trying to figure out.
1) in a layer I selected all points of say a cloud and Edit>Clear
and the drawing does not clear and I can't delete it without deleting the layer.
2)After adding bones to an object, I try to add a Vector layer and it won't let me. Grrrr!

Okay, I just figured out my two problems.
You have to be on Frame 0 to do both those operations.
(If that preference is checked in the preferences) (it can be unchecked)

I'm sorry I misread your question. I see what you mean.
I am missing the 'Style' pop-up button as well.

I have V5.5 on Windows (Build 20070601), and I have the same button missing. On the top of the style window, the only drop-down menu is the "shapes", but the "styles" is missing.

LostMarble told me that is on the $199 version.

Just updated to V5.6, but still same problem.

Oh, that's funny. They have the tutorials covering that button on the cheap version, but you have to upgrade to get the button
