So this is the month that they choose the finalists and start notifying people that they're in the running.
I sincerely want to wish you all the best of luck. Winning this contest could be the start of a really nice career in the entertainment biz, and as much as I'd like it to be me, I'll be happy for whoever wins.
Anyone heard anything yet?

Is it this month?! I really should have read the fine print closer.
The cool thing is, I think we've all been inspired by the work of others, and after the public winner announcements we get our rights back so we can re-work/continue producing/post/etc our animations. I know I learned a lot from the experience, and also been influenced by some animations I've seen lately and look forward to injecting that into my next one!

The only thing good to come from not winning this would at least have someone who posts on this forum make it into the top five (if not win) So we can all say "we knew them way back when"
(at least get some kind of bragging rites from the whole experience)
(and I truly believe the majority of the top notch entries came from the folks that frequent these boards)-
