Questions regarding AS6 before I upgrade:

I've been trying to find the answers myself before posting this query... Though never coming close to utilizing AS5 to its full abilities, I do love the program. The idea of lip-sync being included is very appealing, despite Papagayo being very useful in the past. My main problem with AS5 is the artifacting I get when overlaying PNG/PSD files, even though the overlapping areas are the same color. I've tried exporting the Illustrator files with and without antialiasing and still get dark overlap-artifacts in AS5. Can anyone confirm if this has been resolved in AS6? Thanks in advance.

The .PNG issue still persists. But its really barely noticeable. Make sure you're using 24-bit .PNG files to give smoother and cleaner edges.
I just overlaid a block on orange over another block, 24-bit .PNG saved from Photoshop. When I render at PAL size I can see a FAINT line running down the screen where the overlap occurs.
You can solve this problem by rendering at double-size and then resizing back to normal size as far as I know. That way, the slight line disappears when it can't get squeezed into a smaller size of pixels.

Is that the same PNG issue I noticed when I made the animation from book illustrations some time ago? (
