Rendering bug?

I recently did a sequence that involved a lot of camera rotations, and I noticed that one specific sequence failed to render properly. The text and a portion of the background would vanish for a couple of frames and then reappear.

I don't believe that it was something that I did (I checked the opacity of my layers within the timeline, and did not see any changes). A short clip of the problem is provided below:

My solution was to change the zoom field of the camera, which solved the issue. I'm still scratching my head on why this was happening. Any ideas what could have caused this, and are there any alternate solutions other than my own?

Thanks!

Try to render to image sequence if you have AS PRO. Once you see which frames have the problem render them individually to see what's causing the problem.
Also share the anme file can tell you if it is a render problem specific for your AS version or not.
