The bone constraints are pretty specific, referring to how far(angle) a bone can move, what other bone can control it's position by angle or translation. If you just want to say "this bone, from the initial angle (the way you drew it on frame zero), can go zero degrees counterclockwise(not allowed at all), but can go 90 degreees clockwise" (maybe its a knee) you set the angle constraint. If you want to set an angle control bone, the chosen bones angle mimics the control bones angle, by a percentage you set. The position controlled bones are a similar concept. In basic use I don't do much more than just make sure a knee or elbow can't bend backwards. But if you want more, I believe the classic controlled bone situation, where a "bicep" bone is controlled by the angle of the forearm bone, is included in the tutorials. I've messed with bones an awful lot, so if you have a specific thing you want to do, and I know how, I'll try and run you through it. Please try to be specific.

Experiments

Post by paulo marcos Andrade »

Hi 7Feet,

I am doing some experiments to learn the full capabilities of Moho. Now I understand how to use these bones constraints. They must be used in a frame different then 0.

Thanks !
