How come when I start up Photoshop, the Quick Mask button on the toolbar is cut off? I have Photoshop CS4 for mac, and when I open up Photoshop with the toolbar in its traditional style (two columns), the Quick Mask button is cut off by 3/4. When I change the style of the toolbar to one column, and then back to two, it's fine. How come this happens only when opening it up?

Well I am also using Photoshop CS4 but I having no such problem as you are saying. But I am running it on window XP. When you start your Photoshop there may be tool boox at right hand side. And all of the property windows are on left hand side. If you see your columns cut off than according to me its may be your monitor window problem.
