I'm always pushing stuff off the edge because I don't need it in the visible area now, and then finding I can't pull it back because I can't get to some of the vector handles...

Don't other people want to draw all their toys first and then put them in the visible area when they need them? Is that tiny little frame of desktop around the visible area all anyone needs?

What am I misunderstanding? How do other people cope with having a limited amount of space to put stuff in?

I tried to see if there was a way of hiding a layer completely until it was wanted, but I can't see one.

What I do is open another AS program make what I need there then import it to the other open AS. Sometimes I have 3 or 4 different AS apps. running at once.

Turn off layer visibility. See "Anime Studio Windows" (page 258-259) of the user manual.

Just be connected with expert and meet many more intelligent .

To the original poster, if your question is a serious one, try the zoom tool. Make sure you're sitting down and wearing thick underwear though, because it is going to blow your mind.

No; on the desk, but it is so high any time I need to look at the top of the screen I can feel my neck bones crunch.

OK, for the original poster, take advantage of layers and groups (bones if debut). Hide anything your not working with.
