Hey there just wondering about the auto lipsynch in the newer AS . Haven't even had time with AS at all but would like to know if it works well? What "letter" sounds do we get to use? Thanks

There is no such thing as good auto lipsynch, Papagayo works because you put a lot of input into the results and personally is not that good with out tweaking the results.

Spend some time in front of a mirror or video camera. Next look at others animation, see how much is skipped when lip syncing the mouth. And what was not. Look up squash and stretch of animation figures and apply it to the mouth also.

Their is a lot to learn about lip sync.

No I realize precisely how it all works, and have had brilliant results with and without papagayo in the past. I was simply inquiring about the new auto lipsynch feature in AS 6. :)

If you want to see my tests, check out rpc9943 on youtube, specifically the "beoug" and "Joe scaponi" demo tests. Would link you but I'm posting from my blackberry @ work :)

Who needs Papagayo or any other method when you can scrub the audio in AnimeStudio. I find it faster and accurate. ;)

Aww thanks, I will be working on stuff soon! Yeah I guess scrubbing is the best, eh? I will be inviting friends over doing short improv voice acting and doing shorts before delving fully in to beoug. I want that to be after I get the workflow down. Thanks for the support and confirmation on the best technique. ;)

Wow; this is fabulous! My syncs needed a bit of tweaking, but it is so nice to be able to do it all right inside AS6 instead of going to Papagayo and back. This is now one of my favorite new features!
