I know this isn't an animation but i've just done a website (for me) and I just wanted some feedback on wether it WORKS in different browsers or on different platforms.. there seem to be some glitches (not all the time, only occasionally, which is more annoying).

Works fine on my pc. I have windows xp with the latest version of firefox.

The only thing, the gimp link is like a raw text and doesn't work and celtx link is wrong. The contact link works on the image but not on the text. I like the design

PC, Vista, Firefox. As above -- everything works OK apart from links (neither of which work).

Same here, the Gimp link image does not work.

Also, I suggest you embed your email into code by using a form for your contact, otherwise you ll endup with tons of spam.

If you want to give away your email, then use an image text, this way there will be less chances that bots will pick it up.

Other then that, the site looks fine.

That's a nice clean site design. :D I like the images in the navigation bar and the dog character at the bottom. Design-wise, I think it would look nice to follow a consistent underlying grid for the entire page. (With alternating thinner grid columns and rows built in between the regular width/height ones to structure the spaces between objects.) But that is not a usability issue.

You've probably already considered this, but it's nice for visitors if a website uses text rather than images for the verbal content. Then if they need to search for something, they can do a google search within the site's domain. Plus it should help out with google rankings to have discernible text content, although I don't know if you're concerned with that. :D

I was sure the text was text... don't know why it's an image.. something to do with the font perhaps? Will investigate.

Some "page-maker" programs will convert a font that is not common in to an image so you don't lose the style.

What I ment with image text, is, use Photoshop or Gimp to generate your email address as an image, instead of text a bot can grab off your webpage.

Not a 100% bot proof but only more sophisticated bots can read text in images.
