I use

http://www.findsounds.com

But I always make sure I change the sound in an audio editor just in case of copyright.

Use Snagit and treat the audio as a video with sound. Then open up virtual dub and import the video and save as wav; this will eliminate the video part of the AVI. Then import to audacity to edit. :D

I've only been messing with animations and audio editing for 4 months now so some of the ways I do stuff might seem odd but so far its worked and all the software I have is freeware except AS (39.99 at Target)

I use the free one and it does everything i need.

When the page comes up....right click on the audio file you want to hear and select open in new web browser..usially it will open in media player etc...if you like it, close media player and with the findsounds web page still open, right click on the link and select save to or save as.
