Action starting at Frame 1 problem

Hi...
I've been creating actions for a small animation that I'm working on. But then I encountered a problem.
Every time that I create a new action, it moves to frame 1. Because of this.. I cannot copy from another action to set my character.
Moving the time line doesn't work.
Is there a way to reset it to 0?

1. To copy an action you already made, first start a new action.
2. Then, while you're in the timeline of the new action, click once on the action you want to copy.
3. That should make the "insert copy" button available at the top of the actions window. Click on that and you'll see that the keyframes have appeared in your new action's timeline.

Well.. as I stated in my first post.. I have been creating actions.. As a matter of fact, I was in the process to create action #57.
The problem I now have is that whenever I create a new action.. it immediately starts at frame 1, and the option to copy from another action is then disabled.
What I would need to know is how to have the action reset to start at a frame 0, unless that AS has a limit on how many actions you can create.

That's strange. For me it doesn't matter what frame I'm on. If I click once on the action I want to copy, the insert copy option becomes available. Additionally, if I create the new action on a frame other than frame zero, I'll be on that frame in the new action. But I can just go back to zero on the timeline the same way I would on the main timeline. Do you have a screen capture of this problem?
[edit]: Hmm... maybe it is a limit on the number of actions you can have, as you mentioned. I noticed that in one of your previous threads Mikdog mentioned that he had a character with 56. So maybe you're just the first person to try for 57?

Hmmm... maybe I did hit the limit.. but if I did.. that would be very limited for any company who would work with full series of animation.. or even a movie at that..
I'll try a new file and import the folder.. maybe it will rectify the problem..
Any Devs around who would be able to answer if there is a limit on the number of actions that can be created?

Well.. I just tried importing the folder to a new file.. It did fix the issue..
Maybe just a glitch...
Tks for the reply... it got me thinking for a work around..
