....and you would normally create each shot or scene in AS separately and compile these into a film in your editing software. It's not a good idea to try and create the whole film as one in the animation software.

i have anime studio 5 pro and which is the best video editing software and i make charactar should i save it to jpg or avi for editing

Remember that the master material should be rendered form AS in the highest quality and then after edit in the video editor, render it to the best suitable format for broadcasting (avi, mov, ogg) with the proper codec (divx, h.264, theora).
For me the best quality for master material is png sequence or any uncompressed codec.
