Switch Layer interpolation bug - major

I've found the firts bug.
When I animate my character and test it in the main window, all the points transate correctly.
But, when I export to any format, the points don't move until they reach the key frame. No inbetween, act like the step option.

There are some solution?

Here, I made an example movie.
Please read the description.

I tried with my character, having point and bone movements and I have no problems exporting it's working fine here.

I can't see the difference in the two versions. I am not sure what area to watch. Which area is not inbetweening? Can you show this in a simpler animation?

Everything was explained in the video description...
The eyes and eyebrow dont move, stand still and then moves suddenly to the last position.
I used the same project file without modify, simply loaded and rendered.

*EDIT*
Found the problem.
The switch layer interpolate points only in the first key. All the next keys acts like the interpolation was disabled.

* UPDATE *
I was wrong, key appears to work well.
The problem is other: Switch layer will interpolate only the first layer.
I've done many tests.
It can be fixed easily or I have to wait the 7.1 version?

Sorry dude but you are incorrect. I did a bunch of tests and it works. Switch Layer smooth interpolation works fine. Could we see the file? Maybe you have incorrect points on the switch layers so that they don't interpolate?

Are you RENDERING the tests? If you have a sub layer of a switch layer selected and play or scrub the animation it appears as if there is no interpolation or switching.

Try a very very very simple file with a few layers in a switch. Something small and simple.

Take a look, I'm so frustrated.
Coming from Debut I never used Blend Morphs, so my characters, for now, uses ALL the interpolation.
Some time it seem to interpolate only first key... Other time it seem to interpolate only first layer... I can't understand!

You're right, your file interpolate between the first 2 poses but not back to the original.
I made a test as well with a new blank file and came up with the same result as you, this must be a bug I guess, it should be reported in the "bug" topics

So it's a bug...
I was thinking it may be my fault...
Someone can make a post on the"Bug" section?
I don't know how to explain what's happening...

Sorry!

Yes, big bug. It isn't as noticeable when you scrub the time line. Very very odd. In fact I didn't notice at all with my own test file but I had a lot more layers and key frames.

I am moving this topic to the bug section.

Here's a sort of workaround for the switch bug. this is NOT a perfect solution but at least will help exporting animations with switch layers.

The bug only happpens after the animation has played through the switch keys the first time. After the first time through the bug appears. The trick is to render or export your animation on the first play through.

To export an animation with switch layers...

Save and close the file. Open it again. Export animation. Now the switches will work properly.

The key is that the first time played switch layers work.

----------------------

Additional info:

Another trick is to SCRUB through the time line back and forth over the switch layer keys. This "resets" the problem. You can then go back to frame 0 and export the animation. Easier to just save/close/open of course.

Me too! I was VERY happy to find this solution. I spent a few hours fiddling. ;). I am relieved. I don't use a LOT of switch layers but it's nice to know I can still use them.

No... Your workaround don't work with me...
Even the same...
