Now, how would you know that ASP7 sucks if you didn't get to have a trial of it?

TB is a good software, no doubt about it but AS has unique tools that TB doesnt have.
Also i have seen much better animated movies and series made in AS than in TB.

I have no doubt that Toon Boom is great software. I have plenty of respect for it. However, you can buy AS7 Debut for 1/6th the cost of the consumer Toon Boom. As for the pro version of Toon Boom, it costs 10 times as much as the pro version of AS7 (unless you go for Harmony, in which case it's more like 100 times as much.)
Along those same lines, I have heard that Maya is the be-all, end-all of animation software. But I am not about to mortgage a home in order to find out.

I agree with the principle @hothead, not the sentiment, maybe go easy on the old red bull, sunshine.

I too feel the sour pang of disappointment.....

Sour pang? Something like that, could be lunch though.

oooops gotta go.

Imago they're actually really not offering refund not a trial.
The fine print, technicalities and opinions that claim otherwise are lipstick on a pig

Legally binding lipstick mind you.
Oooh just thinking of that now, pretty piggy.

I don't understand...
If he want ONLY try the software, he can use CP one.
Or he can search "another way" to obtain it...
I heard something about a stubborn, strong, patient four-legged horse-like animal wich can help him...
But i think that animal are a bit out of laws...

"like lambs to the slaughter"
People don't eat donkeys.
I can see the vultures overhead though.
