Sharp joints (elbow, etc...). How do I do it?

Hello.
I have been playing with ASP 5, 6 and 7 for some time and I am very comfortable with rounded "joints".
They are very easy to achieve, and it works every time.
But...
I would like to design a character that has "pointy", sharp elbows and knees.
And I don't know what is the best way to achieve this.
Maybe someone can describe his/her workflow for working with that kind of rigging.
I know ho to deal with rounded joints, using both layer-binding and point-binding.
But I have no idea how to do sharp joints.
Thanks,

Rui

I'm not sure if I understood your problem. Anyway, have you tried using curvature tool?

Yes, I use it a lot.
But what I am saying is, when I rig a character, it works beautifully, provided the joints are based in a rounded connection.
But if I need a character like, say, robin from the young titans, i will need sharp knees and sharp elbows.
So, the technique that I use for rigging the character won't work, because it results in rounded knees and elbows.
The regular technique is perfect for rounded joints, thou.
I wonder if you guys have some tips/tricks/techniques for working with sharp joints like the ones needed for robin.
Thanks for the reply.

Uhm, I think I understood how you setup the arms. Maybe you should try with mandcon's arm. You can search for it here on forum, it's a very great and flexible way to setup arms and joints. It should works perfectly for sharp elbows.
I made a little tutorial some time ago, you can watch it here
