Freehand Fill

I though this would be a simple thing to do, but I cannot find a solution. Let's say I use the freehand tool to draw 4 lines that intersect, like a tic-tac-toe game. But I drawit using the freehand tool. If I wanted to fill in the center box with a color, how do I do that? I was trying to group the lines, but no luck. Is there a simple way to do this?

You probably need to copy the layer, bind points, turn off outline and then create shape and adjust fill.

I never really thought of this before, having a point in a line that isn't an end point auto weld to another line. I think this is what is asked and I have no answer. Other than just making a square shape and adding lines to each corner making it look like a tic tac toe

The only "Bind Points" I could find is with bones. I'm not trying to bind points to bones. Is there another option that I am missing?

After you draw the 4 lines, use the add points to add points near the intersections; there will be 8 total, 2 for each line. Then, one intersection at a time, use the move points tool and drag one point over the other, and hit space (you should hear a click) to weld the points. On the last intersection, you should get a filled shape in the center square (auto-weld and auto-fill should be checked on property bar at the top).

That was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

I meant weld not bind, sorry if that was misleading
