Some tools not working right in Intro Tutorial

I Just got Anime Studio Pro 7.
I'm doing the first tutorial and certain tools are not working as they're supposed to.

For instance, the Curvature Tool. I can select a point but it doesn't drag.
Same thing with the Line width tool.

Everything else in the tutorial worked as expected.

Thanks.

that's weird. Have you tried with other files? Are you sure you are using well the tools?
If it definitively doesn't work, try re installing AS.

Are you holding down the left mouse button and dragging the mouse left and right?

I'm using a wacom tablet and pressure pen.
But I also tried it with my mouse. Standard Mac mouse. No left right buttons.

I'll give it another try and see if anything changed.

THanks.

I just tried more of the Quick Start Tutorial. This time instead of using my own file I opened ones that came with the program. I still can't get those tools to work.

Is the target point you are trying to do line width and curvature to, red (as in selected) when you try to drag that point?

Your phrasing makes me wonder if you are expecting those tools to move the point. The point doesn't move but dragging left and right changes the curvature or the line width.

Aha! Barry. You hit it on the head.

I did think the line would move. Or, in the case of the point changing angle, I was expecting to see it change from a curve point to a corner point. As in bezier curves in other programs.

OK. Problem solved. Thanks all.
Now I'm looking forward to really learning the program.
