Exporting *.mov with No Sound
Posted: Wed Jun 30, 2010 3:06 pm
I imported a *.mp3 audio file into AS Pro 6. The sound plays back fine when in AS6, but when I export my *.mov video, there is no sound. There is not even a volume slider on the QuickTime menu where there normally is. That leads me to believe there simply is no sound, and it isn't just a matter of the sound being too quiet.
I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere. I found a few threads where other users had this problem with *.swf exports. The resolution was to copy the *.mp3 into the same directory as the other files. I tried this but still no dice.
Exporting *.mov with *.mp3 audio worked for me YESTERDAY. (I have proof on my YouTube channel!) What am I doing now that is different? Please help me if I am missing something very simple.
Here is an image depicting the missing volume slider in QuickTime:

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for helping me figure this out.
