lo all
sorry for firing a question at ya for my first post.
i have some charater images i want to import from illustrator cs.
these have gradient meshes on them.
is there anyway to bring these into moho as i have animated the
outlines of them already (using bones) and have now worked up the final images to replace them with.
im hoping there is a way because i couldnt see a way to make complex
gradients in moho.

any help would be great guys.

Moho only has support for simple gradients, and can't import them from Illustrator files. If you need to use a more complex gradient, or you want it to warp with Moho's bones, you can create the gradient as an image file, and use that as a texture as described in Tutorial 4.4 in the Moho manual.

yeah my problem is that im using the final animations for
a flash game that i am making.
hmmm.

right well i tihnk im gonna have to aproach it 2 ways and see which one
works best.
type 1. use cartoon flat shading and leave it in vectors
( probobally the way i will have to due to file size restrictions)
type 2. use textures and export to PNG and loop images in flash.

shame we can use gradients on imported illutrator files.

well its getting there.

heres a rough up of the anim.
its not the final version just a demo of what direction im goin in.
needs more work etc but i thought it would help if you guys saw
what i was on about
