SWF not rendering correctly, but AVI does

OK. If an AVI renders perfectly and the Flash/SWF renders but drops Action, frames, and in general doesn't work... I have to come to the conclusion the Flash/SWF exports is not working properly.
I have a case last night where rendering the SWF crashed AS7PRO every time in exactly the same place in the build, but the AVI was fine. Today I have the case where I did get a SWF file that 'works', but the animation is all wrong (i.e., it drops the beginning, then loops back too early, and other stuff wrong).
Does Smith Micro look here to see what they need to fix?
I'm a software developer, and I would think if someone said they had a project that demonstrated a problem 100% of the time I would want to get that project and use it to debug the problem.
Ley me ask right out. IS THE ABILITY TO EXPORT SWF KNOWN TO HAVE BUGS?
In general, is Smith Micro working on fixing bugs... I have yet to hear of even one patch announcement...
UPDATE: I have been doing some experiments, and I set the 'extra SWF frame'... now it plays the first 650 frames (out of 960) and then goes back to frame 1.... that is, it 'forgets' to play frames 650-960. And I double-checked, it is set to render to frame 960 (like I said, if I just change to render to AVI, it comes out perfect).
I'm guessing due to the lack of response about SWF (and I get good response on most other subjects here) either this is a known 'lost cause', or I'm demonstrating so much ignorance as to be unapproachable! (lol)
