Hello guys, i have a problem....
Made this cene on AS6 but... see:


All effects (gradient, halo and soft edge) dont works on animation... Works only on "Render"
Can anyone tell me WHY!!!!!!!!!!!! :S

how are you exporting your animation? SWF export doesnt support any of the effects you mentioned so you'll need to export in a video format such as quicktime...

Of course you'll see those effects only in a rendered image or video file. You will not see them in an SWF.

BTW, very nice BG! I like it how you put lots of detail in the background, keeping the foregroundelements all nice and clean so they won't distract animation. My only complain would be the outline of the tree's foliage: can't you do this in the more traditional style with round leaves?

but... I like this style of tree because in effect with the wind so I can make it look natural movements ...
.... Already pointed round effects is very simple and crude.
That way I can animate so the tree does not seem to "plastic"

This is my first "project" with AS as well to get my video card (mine burned) I intend to finish it.

I'll try to save into other formats to see if the effects are applications ....
