I upgraded to 7 Pro last night. For many reasons but mainly to do 3d characters. I know this isnt made for that but Im writing a 2D game, But I need a 3d character. Mainly to save time redrawing bunches of times in 2D.
Anyway I saw the video on 3D on the website but that was obviouly a reference thing that went flying by to fast. I heed to guides and tutorials for 3D development with Anim 7 Pro. Actualy 7.1
Thanks

I don't think it be a good idea to make an entire 3d character in AS. It's a 2d software with nice but limited 3d features. 3d is most to make details or things that would take more time doing in 2d. If you want to make a character in AS, make it 2d or simply change the software. There are a lot of 3d softwares dedicated to make what you want relatively easy.
My advice is you try with a 2d character, play with simulated 3d by hand. Learn to use the kind of animation this software covers better. It doesn't implies to make a bunch of draws, Anime Studio is actually made to avoid most of that.

Thanks for your response. I understand what you’re saying.
I wasn’t looking for anything real fancy though. Like say for instance, a 3D forearm. And putting in a bone that will move it in a 2D direction.
Anyway, I’ll still accomplish what I need. I was just hoping to learn more about how 3D works with Anime 7 pro to its fullest extent. The only reading so far I can find on the subject is easy to understand but extremely limited.
