Ripping tearing gradients textures

Ok Textures and gradients are ripping to pieces if shapes with textures or gradients are used extensively on any rig that uses one layer.

This is a horrible BIG bug.

When this software is being tested, instead of finding workarounds that suit a couple of people, after the software is released, why not FIND and fix the bug in testing?

This one is awful and what with having the fractal noise feature (I can't remember what it was called now)taken away, getting colour and tonal subtleties in these animations is becoming a real pain.

Why do we always have to find workarounds for features that only work under very limited conditions, I really haven't asked the app to step beyond it's call of 'DOODIE' so why the constant fails?

  :? :(

Additional report, tiled textures seem to be causing more crashes than I've ever seen in ASPRO.

Every 2 minutes ever since I've introduced the crucial textures , now I'm going to have to totally rethink my plan on finishing this deadline, I feel quite sabotaged.

Also....Why do these textures ripple sometimes as if in a heat haze?Looks rubbish.

What used to be an un-crashable app as far as I was concerned has become a minefield of promises and pitfalls.

I can't seem to take any features for granted any more.
Just when I find some fantastic way of implementing a feature in a way that I thought was impossible (hopefully I'll be able to share that stuff on a happier less busy occasion), another feature which should be reliable and bog standard, starts to fall apart.

Can't use 5.6 because I've made some of the new features of 7 crucial to the completion of this job ( should have known better).

Don't have time for this. Gggrrrrr. :x

I have never had problems with textures. Can you post your file?

I would but the file doesn't exist any more, I've been ripping it apart, trying to get back to somewhere safe.
Thanks for the offer, Selgin btw what image format and size do you use?
Have you use tiles or in conjunction with physics?

I better qualify the last post I made by stating that not all textures cause crashes. I just can't identify at this time what is causing the problems, formats maybe ,size, I don't know?

Sorry, I have no much time to answer, but check Whale blend morph file on library. I think it's a good example about how I use textures.
