Could you give me some feedback on my first published cartoon?
I have been playing with anime studio for about seven months now. I have not really published anything yet. I am wanting to get better at the program. I use these message boards a lot to help me learn new techniques.

What are some areas I could improve in to make my cartoon look and feel more professional?
Thanks.

I like it. The animation is good for this type of short.
I didn't realized the bald guy was the hitman guy until I read the credits, since almost all the other characters were (mostly) Nintendo characters.
Voice acting for grandpa was really good.
Keep on making more!

Yeah that didn't really go anywhere, but the style was nice. How about a really interesting story for the next one!

The animation was good, without outlines on the various characters it looked like their hands were disappearing at times.

Good story. You came up with an idea and followed it through.
Speech 101...
Tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, then tell them what you just told them.
Nicely done.

Very nice work!

That was fun and silly. I especially like the honest last line.
"Grandpa, that doesn't make any sense!" Made it all the more enjoyable.
Very entertaining, right down to the credits and dedication to all red-tied characters.
Good work!

Thanks everybody for the feedback. I appreciate all of your encouragement.
@ alexian: Part of the purpose was for the animation to not go anywhere. My humor style appreciates humor like Spongebob Squarepants and Monty Python.
@ Danimal: I did notice that their hands seem to disappear. I did not notice what you meant at first. I think you are talking about when they put their hands in their faces and the colors mix. I am not sure I can fix this. I cannot use outlines because it does not fit the animation style. If I darken the hands it looks strange. Do you have any suggestions?
I plan on being more active in these forums. I have used the forums many times, but I hardly add anything to the community. I hope to see you all more often.

You could have the hands cast a slight shadow only when over the face just to cause a bit of separation. That's all I'm thinking of offhand.
Or you could just live with it and say, ah well, it's part of the style. That works too!

That's such a great idea! The only problem is that I have no idea how to do it over the face only. Also, I don't know if I would even like it if I went through all the work to figure it out.
I guess I could try it if it is easier than I think.
