Filling - Selecting Lines

Hello everyone,

I have two questions regarding Freehand drawing.
I like Frame-by-Frame animation, but it comes with two big problems that I don't know how to solve:

First, is there a clever way to fill the spaces between separately drawn lines?
I mean like the fill tool in PhotoShop or alike?
The way I do it right now is by either creating a shape and rotoscoping for every frame, or redraw the fills for each frame, which either way is a painful process.

Another question is how I can change the line styles (like brushes and colours) on already-drawn lines.

The only way I can do that right now would be to "select shape (Q)" every single line (frame by frame) which is just not possible.

Any suggestions (besides getting another program or roto-monkeys ;) ) are much appreciated!

cheers
P-

For your first question - do you mean like the Paintbucket tool in Photoshop? No, there's nothing like that in Moho. In moho, your shapes need to be welded fully closed before they can be filled.

As far as changing a line style on already-drawn lines, use the "color pusher" feature of the Seletc Shape tool. First, select one of the lines using the Select Shape tool. Make the modifications you want to color, brush, etc. Then, hold down the Alt and Ctrl keys and click on other lines to "push" the selected line's properties onto those other lines. It's like a reverse color picker - a "color pusher".

You'll need to do this for each layer - the color pusher only works within one layer.

To make the process easier in the future, you can set up a style before you draw anything. Create a new style, and name it "Line Qualities" (or whatever). Next, choose your new style as one of the Applied styles for new shapes. Now go ahead and draw all the lines you want (in any number of layers you want). All of these lines will have the new style applied to them. If you later want to change anything about the lines, just change the style, and all the lines will reflect the changes.
