physics with bones problem

Hello,

I am using AS Pro 7.1. My animation is using physics. It contains 5 vector layers and 1 bone layer that contains a vector layer.

When I click Play the animation looks fine. All layers animate as expected but when I export my animation I do not get what I see when I click Play. The bone layer moves in a way that does not look natural and the other layers move as they do when I click Play. Only the bone layer behaves differently.

I expected the objects in my exported animation to move as they do when I click Play. What would cause there to be a difference?

I have made a simple project available for downloading that shows the problem. This may be a bug but perhaps I am not settings things up correctly and was hoping someone here could offer some insight.

Thank you,
Eric

Turn off Lock Bone on your bones and it'll work right. It's your locked bones trying to stay in place that's causing the entire bone structure (and its associated vector layer) to warp.

Don't know why the preview doesn't show the locked bones warping - my guess is that locking bones simple isn't compatible with using physics.

I downloaded the file and didn't see the locked bones! Thank you, Belgarath, it was a headache don't know what was going on. Maybe I'm taking this too seriously...

Anyway, I was thinking why do you want bones forming a square, eparent. A simple square shape will work just like the bones in this case.

Belgarath,
Thank you! Turning of "Lock bone" fixed the problem. Your help is much appreciated.

selgin,
My real project is using bones with images instead of a vectors so that I can use physics with images. The project I put up for downloading was made to demonstrate the problem I was seeing without having to also include test images.
