changing 1 layer and affecting many

I'm trying to do some tests right now, and still not exactly sure how to do this...
I have a repeating wall composed of a moving element which was created by duplicating a layer many times, and arranging them on a grid, then grouping the layers so the many versions cover a big rectangle each touching at the edge of the next.
I would like to change a few things about the animation of each piece, but I'm not sure how. I'm a bit confused going through the manual about how to find, for instance, ALL of the layer scale keyframes for each of the 100 layers contained within the various nested folders under a master folder.
Or, if there's another way to do it... basically, i wanna change one layer's animation, and have it affect each of the 100 layers that was created by duplicating that layer... then duplicating that group of layers, etc.
I don't mind recreating the groups once if there's a right way to do it so I can easily edit going forward.
