Quick question...

I have these objects, one on top of the other. They are all filled objects. I am trying to select a group of nodes with the lasso tool. But as soon as i click the the whole object gets selected. The only way i found to overcome this is to start my lasso by clickin outside the objects and work my way through the nodes in to the object then cirlce the nodes that needed to be selected and work my way out to close the selection.
I was wondering if there was an easier way to do is? Maybe click a key or something that does the trick?

I don't know if I unserstand you (4 my English), but you can try to hold press Alt key meantime you select the points that you want in the way that you want... Good Luck!

Yes, holding down the Alt key will cause the selection tool to ignore any shapes you click on.
