Hi, just iinstalled AS but cannot get anywhere with it.

Initial queries - 1 - if I move stuff around it shows in the animation - how do I stop that when I am just testing out things ?

2 - if I select to change a colour of something, why does the colour change to a grid, then only show the new colour if I click on it? It then disappears again in the animation.

I am confused. Help!

I strongly recommend clicking on the help tab and click on help and do each and everyone of the examples/tutorials. It will be very helpful for you.

Listen to stambu.
Read the help document carefuly, do it several times, be patient you are learning a new software.
