"Export as" additional file format + change source

Hello,
1. Is it possible to export the finished project as a different file format?
My goal is to make this work with a 3d open source software called Blender. Blender.org
2. I read the gpl.txt and the readme.txt but it still wasn't clear to me whether or not I am allowed to modify the source. I wanted to hire someone online to somehow integrate the two (since they both use python) to make my life 1000 times easier and benefit a whole community.
