Hi

I ordered AS7 Pro from the SM site with a discount code i found online, but just noticed that Pro doesn't come with a beginner mode.. is this a bad thing? i thought Pro had everything Debut had but more.

I think the beginner mode may have helped a lot, or is it not really anything to worry about?

Thanks.

There is no "beginner mode". "Debut" only means it has less tool than "Pro". Other than that, both come with tutorials you really need to work through.

Actually debut 7 has a beginners mode. It reduces the number of tools to the most basic, increases its size and shows you videos about how to use them. I'm very sure it helps to understand the basics, but you can live without it.
Anyway, Pro is much more powerful than Debut and, as Slowtiger said, you can find all the info you need in the tutorials (and here on forum), so I don't buying it be a mistake.

This is the second post I've seen where the user seems adamant that they need this beginner mode; both without actually trying it. You folk are an advertiser's wet dream - can I interest you in some Coke and a Ford Focus?

Anyway, if you insist on having this beginners mode, because you are a "beginner", Why don't you just download the 30 day trial for Debut? If you can't go beyond the beginner mode after 30 days of using it, then you're going to struggle... in life.
