Hi everybody!
This week's Fletcher is up on its new host:
http://thedailyrawr.com/
Also on the Rawr are Drawrings, which are basically single panel comics that I drew up for fun. Plus there's a daily blog of awesome stuff. Check it out!
Dan
ps: You can still watch on fletchercomics.com, as well.

There aren't a ton of Powerpuff Girl--X-men mashups out there, so enjoy this one:

A new episode of Fletcher just posted on The Daily Rawr:
http://thedailyrawr.com/2011/03/28/zoo-story/
Fletcher tells Cougar about his recent trip to the zoo, with the usual goofy twists.
Enjoy!

This is off-topic, but I just posted it and I really love it:

I think it's funny; check it out (I can't really say much about it without giving the joke away)

New Fletcher is up on The Daily Rawr!
http://thedailyrawr.com/2011/04/04/dvr-gremlins/
Cougar has trouble remembering the rules governing Gremlins, which sparks a whole discussion.
Also on the Rawr, just for good measure, is this pic I did of Mario and Luigi fighting Gmork from Neverending Story:

So there that is.

hilarious as usual! :D I'm curious about your comedy writing process. Any tips for people who are comically challenged? Like one thing I'm wondering is if you still find the jokes funny after you've heard/seen them a hundred times. Can you tell when they're working?

Thanks!
Honestly, I always start with something that makes me laugh and then work backwards to set it up. I can't think of a great example right now for some reason, but I let my mind go until I have some thought that makes me laugh, and then I make a script to get there.
So that would be my advice, I guess. It's like writing a mystery; start with the end and work backwards.
Hope it helps!

I am the same way when it comes to writing something funny. But, I have always been funny in conversations. So what I do is write down suggestions on what it is I want to say then I use a voice recognition software to write down what I am saying. Sure the spelling is bad and the punctuation is bad but I can go back fix those.
