For those of you still struggling with the concept of dividing a character into separate parts, here's an old french children's book to do exactly that:

I can recommend the whole blog for inspiration, for those who wish to use old stuff (like me) the blogger thankfully provided scans in HiRes.

I just stumbled over a site with even more paper theatre stuff:
http://www.geheugenvannederland.nl/?/en ... ur-van-%29 (their URLs are completely insane) via the very good blog

When I was 10 we moved from Melbourne to the middle east for a few years. A family friend who was a theatre dude gave me some paper model theatre books, and bored out of my mind sitting around in an apartment builkding in Saudi Arabia I made some models, culminating in a kit-bashed multi storey KISS concert with custom made KISS figures and glad wrap sheets to make glass flooring. I think that's where my interest in stop motion came from.
Thankyou for rekindling these memories slowtiger my friend
these are not tears in my eyes, I have allergies
