Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to this software and cartoon making in general. I am thinking about buying this but I have a question.
When your character is drawn, can you edit its mouth and facial expressions within the software? Or do you have to draw every pose?
Please let me know.
Thanks!

Hello Sunaj and welcome to the forum.
I have a small video tutorial that should at least answer some of your questions.

thank you.
I'm not sure if i caught this in the video...
but was the head drawn in different ways with respects to the mouth movements and teeth visibility?

The teeth are part of the mouth phonemes, which are in turn inside a switch layer.
There is only one drawing of the head, it is only flipped horizontally for the head turn.
Then I added some point motion to smooth the head turn.
This is the most basic head turn you can get, aside from just flipping the head, it just looks much better this.
Thanks

Hi. Since I am fairly new to all of this.. I will have to ask that you break down the terminology for me..
What are Phonemes? Switch layer???
Say I draw a character sitting down, will I have to draw the character more than once in different positions, say... if at some point I want this character to stand up and walk around? turn around?
Can you describe the steps needed to make a drawn character move and express before having to draw it in a different way?
Are the body parts drawn separately or something?
Thanks

Phonemes are different mouth shapes. A switch layer is a layer that can hold different mouth shapes that you've drawn (or eye shapes or whatever) and then you can switch between the different shapes during animation.
It's one of the ways you can make characters talk, blink, change hands etc in Anime Studio.

You can create characters that are flexible enough to both stand, sit, walk etc without having to redraw them.

You can draw bodyparts separately and then bind them to a skeleton. Then when you move the bones of the skeleton the body parts will follow and deform.
You can use bones for both big things like legs and small things like eyebrows.
