1. I am using ASP8. If I fix an animation character in a postion different from the default position, ex. raise the arm and keep it there, when I go to preview it the arm has returned to its initial position in the preview screen and sometimes in the animation screen in which I drew the character. How can I get the preview screen to keep the new position I have moved the arm? Why does the screen in which I drew the animation character also revert to the default position, e.i. the lowered arm?
2. How can I save an animaiton project as an NTSC file so I can watch it on TV and burn it onto a DVD?

Seems to me you are trying to animate of frame zero.

Frame zero is the setup frame, you need to go on frame one or higher to be able to animate.

To render at NTSC resolution, you need to go in the project settings and choose one of the NTSC preset.

what GCharb said, you can manipulate the bones all you want but if you are at frame 0 the renders will not show it even though you made some poses. Go to frame 1, make the poses/bone movements, and then preview it and now you can see the poses.
