Hi all!
I already visited the forum B4.
Now, I watched your work, and I want 2 show you one of mine.
This is a big project I'm working on (A three part movie).
Well, I finished the 1st part. It's the promotion, 'cuz of it the clip is a little bit short (3.5 mins)..
The 2nd episode is the clip I wanna show you.
I worked 2 days just for composing the openning song, and then 2 days for animating the openning song.
The results are great, and I really wanna share with you, but the file is HUGE!!!
(more then 15 MB, Only for the openning song).
How can I share with u such a big file?
Please help me, Cuz I want 2 get your opinion. :-)...
Hope you can give me a good advice,
13YOA

I'm impressed

I'm VERY impressed. This is just a stellar first job. There are so many things to like, from the music to the character to the landscapes.

I only have a couple comments, and they feel like nitpicks. When we first see the robot(?) the pacing seems to be a bit slow; I was ready for it to move to the next shot.

The part where the boy and the robot are running through the forest, I thought was a bit "jerkY" in the trees, and distracted me. Also, I realize that it's a robot, but I think maybe some bouncing or something would help the scene a bit.

I just finished my first animation and posted here on the thread, so I know it takes some guts to put something you've created "out there" for people to comment on. But you should be very proud, you've done some great work here. I'm anxious to see the rest of it!

Ty, jorgy, 4 the comment.
I'll change it a lil bit, and then upload it again.
BTW, the running scene looks a lil wierd becuz i moved the trees forward n backward, so maybe that is the problem.
And... It is so hard to understand that the couple of boxes are a robot???
If it is, how can I make it looks better?
NEwaiz, I'm working now on the rest of the movie, n evrey few days i'll upload a lil bit, for comments n advices 2 make it better, so stay tuned!
Well, that's all, so have a good day! (Night, in my case )

Hey :D Glad to see more young Moho users on here (I'm 16) :D
I only saw a bit of it (darn Windows Media Player  ) , it looked good from what I could tell. I'm working on long project too. It's a 2 part movie starring one of the characters I made up.

This is really good for a beginner. Keep on animating. I am sure you will do more in the near future. Cheers

Hey, I saw most of your movie. I think the main thing that needs to be improved is your walk cycles. It kinda looks like the character is sliding across the floor with his legs moving. There should be some bobbing up and down movement. lol I HATE doing walk cycles myself. I'm not that great at them  .

Here's a good walk cycle tutorial:

Okay, here's the positives:
Music was GREAT! Did you sing/compose it yourself?
I liked the 3D modules. Those were well done.
The animation iteslf is quite good :D

First off, this sounds a bit racist...as you do not HAVE to be jewish to understand hebrew...and yes from your post your english is bad.

Now, to the poster...I can't get any videos on zippyvideos.com to work, a lot of you on this forum use that site to host but I can't seem to view any of them. I see the windows media window and it says "ready" but nothing happens when I hit play. It says connecting to media, then goes back to saying "ready" again. I'm on a PC w/ WinXP and WM10 w/ everything on the computer updated...and I'm on a T1 line, so I know its not that. I'd like to watch these videos but for some reason can't get them to work.

well if u think so...

to speak and understand hebrew is to be hebrew in first, also he said he's an israeli and well, non-jewish hebrews r a minority like christian tibetans.

just because iam german and my english is not as well as ur oxford people kind of crap u needn't say my statement is racist.

who finally is racist? isn't it you now?

please calm down people. One of the best features of Moho is its kind, informative, and multi-cultural, community.

We have Moho files coming to us from places like China, Chile, England, Russia, Austrailia, Sweden, the States, basicly every where. This makes us all better artists, and yes, better people.

Mr. Blaaa, your comments did seem a bit harsh for a 13 year old kids first project didnt they? Even though I agree, constructive critisism is much better than borderline insults(and yellow font). This kid could be something special with some more practice.

As far as the Jewish thing, I make all sorts of jokes about all cultures, but the timing is a bit off with all this settlement pull out stuff. I hope you can understand that. I dont think you're a racist, English isnt your first language so mistakes can happen.

and to the 13 y/o animator, I am very impressed with your creativity. Your animation and song writing show a lot of promise and I hope you stick to it no matter what anyone says.

Same problem but it doesn't seem to be every video -maybe just the wmv format? I've seen some but have the same problem you mention at least 50% of the time.
