Hi I want a layer to first follow a path and then translate and rotate. The problem I face is that the translation and rotation start from the beginning while following the path.

Copy and paste the keyframes for layer translate and layer rotate from frame zero to the place in the timeline where you want these to start.

I can't do this. The rotation and translation should happen with respect to the final position after following the path (with rotate option).

Set more keyframes: one for rotate and translate at the beginning, but in the initial position, then copy both and past to the point where the rotation begins, then final keys for the final position/rotation.
