Anime Studio "Unexpectedly force quits" ALOT!!!

Hi guys!

I just updated my mac software (the operating system) to Mac OS X 10.7.2 and now Anime Studio crashes everytime I make a small movement to my character (I mean when I have imported my character as images, then seperate the pieces (psd file), then try and control the influences of the bones on the images, thats when it force quits... Its hard to make any progress!!), when yesterday (the operating system hadn't been updated) it was running fine. It unexpectedly quits constantly, unbearable!!!

Has anyone come across this? And is there a solution?

Thanks.

Jac

Can you try with other character images?
can you start AS from terminal/command line to see if you get any error message?

I only experienced crashes when I didn't save my work for some time. I'm working with lots of images as well, so I made it a habit to save immediately after importing something, which seems to help a lot.

Try to save every 30 seconds and see if AS crashes as well.

what version of AS are you on? I would definately post a bug report to smithmicro (as I want to upgrade to lion) even if its version 7.

Do you get the option to submit a crash report to Apple?

could try some of this stuff..
http://www.macworld.com/article/50284/2 ... crash.html

or just see if the 'console' shows anything...
CMD+space -> console
