I own AS 8 Debut and was wondering if the Microsoft text to voice software could be used to create wav files or MP3's for Anime Studio Debut Use - Doesn't the pro version use it's features in their software - Isn't that the major component in Screaming Bee too ?

I'm from Kentucky so I really hate listening to my own accent - Even with the pitch and other features of voice changing software - I can recognize my own voice rythm and accent - ugh - It's Just terrible - lol

No need in buying an expensive mic and software if I can use other voice spectrums all together - Seems like it would be more benificial than trying to create your own voices. Something like Site Pal might work !

Just imagine John Schneider ( Bo Duke ) or Lucas Black doing a kid,s or woman's or etc .... cartoon voice - Not happening - lol

Whatever you use, the result will always be robotic.

You should ask some friends to do the voices instead.

yeah you'll probably find that an audience is a lot more receptive to hearing your voice than a robotic one - you can't expect any kind of 'acting' from a text to speech synth... you are too worried about disguising yourself because you don't like your own voice - but no one likes their own voice! People who watch the video, who don't know you personally, won't have a clue if that's you or not doing the voice so don't be embarrased, and maybe just create some kentukycentric characters

Try to ignore that - after all, the people around you don't run away in disgust when you talk... or do they

So have a go and try to speak clearly to communicate your point and we will all enjoy hearing from you.

The important thing in voice acting is flexibility in your voice. Work on different accents, different rhythms, different cadences, and different tones. Is the voice gruff and gravelly, smooth, nasal, high-pitched, monotone?

There's a lot to it, but if you learn about it, you'll find that you can disguise your voice naturally, just by playing around with it! I can understand being a little shy using your regular voice, but if you come up with a completely different voice and remember that you're ACTING and portraying someone who isn't reall you, the self-consciousness should start to fade away.
