You can mask a video the same way as an image or vector layer.

i look those tutorial, and masking itself...and didn't get anything...well, i am a prety lazy man...

i know that i should first look for basic, duno why, but i quit very soon arter start reading a tutorial.

You might find it easier to do this in video post-production - just use a vertical wipe: That will give you greater control.
